Who I Am
I love working with professionals and high-achievers because I am one.
I’m a former two-sport collegiate athlete, middle child, and a recovering adult child of an alcoholic with an ACES score of 7.
I love cussing!
I’m fierce and fearful (often at the same time).
I’m a feminist obsessed with plants and animals, and I’m a lover of all things awkward.
I’m just as human as everyone else…navigating problems too.
I love gardening, weird lawn art, organizing, and trying to make my partner laugh.
I often incorporate laughter, dream work, movement, image, soul, play therapy, story telling, sand tray modalities, laughter, and more laughter!
I identify as a cannabis & psychedelics positive therapist supporting the education, safety, and use of cannabis & psychedelic medicine.
I support and advocate for equal rights for all. I understand not everyone aligns with this value, and respect if that isn't your style.
As a therapist, I don’t subscribe to the idea that there is anything wrong with you because you’re struggling in our world today. I use an anti-pathologizing approach in my work (i.e. I don’t treat you as if you’re inherently disordered, abnormal, or unhealthy).
I’ve got my own experiences of attention difficulty and being “neurospicy.” It is a real struggle and a super power depending on how the day is going.
Proud first-generation college graduate, having successfully completed both undergraduate and graduate school.
I find centeredness by hugging my cat Morty aka Motorious CAT, or spooning my dog Jolene aka "she'll take your man and treats because she can!"
